"Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance," as sung by Van Morrison conjures up images of a dark starry night with a full moon. It's under this night sky that I watch the Tamaskan Dogs playing in the moonlight. This is the inspiration for Moondance Tamaskan.
Moondance Tamaskan is a small breeder in southern Wisconsin. The dogs are part of the home and family. I fell in love with the Tamaskan Dog only a few years ago, but know they will be in my lives forever.
As life long dog lovers, I have always had room in my heart and home for dogs. My home is filled with a mix of a rescue dog, an Alaskan Husky and the Tamaskan Dogs.
I believe that all dogs should have a forever home. For those looking for a dog that inspires the mystery of the mighty wolf, but who want the temperament of a lovable house dog, I encourage you to explore the Tamaskan Dog. Too many wolf-dogs end up in sanctuaries or worse, euthanized when their owners realize they cannot take care of their animal. I hope to be part of the solution. I offer you an alternative with a loving heart and gentle temperament.
Moondance Tamaskan has two planned litters this winter. Both the girls are expected to go into heat later this month!
