"Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance," as sung by Van Morrison conjures up images of a dark starry night with a full moon. It's under this night sky that I watch the Tamaskan Dogs playing in the moonlight. This is the inspiration for Moondance Tamaskan.
Moondance Tamaskan is a small breeder in western Montana. The dogs are part of the home and family. I fell in love with the Tamaskan Dog and know they will be in my life forever.
As a life long dog lover, I have always had room in my heart and home for dogs. My home is filled with a mix of Tamaskan Dogs, a line of Alaskan Husky called the Hedlund Husky and a spunky rescue dog.
I believe that all dogs should have a forever home. For those looking for a dog that inspires the mystery of the mighty wolf, but who want the temperament of a lovable house dog, I encourage you to explore the Tamaskan Dog.
The lovable Hedlund Husky is a traditional working village dog. These dogs are a wonderful balance of working dog and couch potato. If you are lucky enough to be chosen by a Hedlund Husky, you will never have a more faithful friend.
All our dogs are loved and cared for as members of the family. They live indoors and play outside all day on several acres.
Moondance is located in Missoula, Montana
Moondance has expanded and is also breeding a rare, traditional line of Alaskan Husky called the Hedlund Husky as part of the Hedlund Preservation Group. Teyah and the Tamaskan Out-cross Arrow from Points Unknown are both Hedlund Huskys. The lovely Tlun is the result of a Tamaskan to Hedlund Husky breeding.
Moondance is proud to have recently obtained two gorgeous pups from Points Unknown to continue to help with the preservation of this rare line.
